If you already feel hooked before even starting, this is the course for you! In our extended teaching experience we have learnt that students need more hours, especially on the water. 2 days is often not enough time for a satisfying sailing experience. The course includes all the necessary equipment: wetsuit, life-jacket, helmet, kite surfing gear and instructor. The course is run over 4 days, 4 hours per day in small groups.

Planning

1st Day > 11 AM*

  • Flight theory, power zones, weather and safety factors.
  • Understanding and using the “window” with trainer kite. Land based kite practice.
  • Basic traction exercises followed by “body drags” (water practice).

2nd Day > 12 AM*

  • More advanced techniques, control with one hand.
  • Introduction to the board. Board/kite disassociation exercises.
  • Practice sessions with board and kite. First water starts.

3rd Day > 12 AM*

  • Practice sessions with board and kite.
  • Relaunching the kite in the water, and nautical winds.

4th day > 12 AM*

  • Priorities and nautical Rules.

All the activities are covered for Civil Responsibility insurance.

* Approximate times. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the course will be postponed until new dates agreed on between the school and the client- according to availability.
